Ok, I haven’t posted in awhile and supposedly haven’t checked my domain registrar because someone stole danieljcarroll.com…that bastard!!!!

Well, one of my old posts seems to hit me hard and I was reblogging my own post…who does that?

Life is too short.

Whatever you do in life, love it or quit and do something else.
You should feel free. If not, you are not living your dream.
Take a second to enjoy the journey you are on everyday. You don’t have to know the end but should be having a damn good time getting there.

Do you ever watch a movie and come away saying “Wow, holy shit that was powerful.” You walk away almost as if your life will take another course. Everything seems clear. What was a complicated set of chess pieces now seems so simple. Well, I have that feeling right now.

The movie I just watched is called “Into the Wild.” Here is the Wikipedia link to the story. It basically is about a kid who graduates from a prestigious college and just gets into Harvard law school. Everything seems perfect, but the character Christopher doesn’t seem to like the life society has laid out for him or life he sees himself living in the future. He abruptly leaves town and embarks on series of adventures through rural America, by train and hitchhike, and finally ends up in Alaska. Movies can have different messages to different people. A couple of thoughts I got from the movie.
